2026 Summer Sunsplash Program

Thank you for considering Escuela Plus Elementary’s Summer Sunsplash program! Designed to enrich your child’s summer both academically and socially, Summer Sunsplash blends engaging learning with the rigor and high expectations that define the Escuela Plus experience — all within a supportive environment where students are met where they are and encouraged to grow. Through purposeful instruction and creative experiences in and out of the classroom, students have opportunities to strengthen skills, build confidence, and continue progressing with personalized attention in our nurturing community.

ELIGIBILITY:

Summer Sunsplash is for students entering TK (starting at age 4 ½) through 5th Grade in the Fall 2026. Students do not have to be enrolled in Escuela Plus for the regular school year in order to attend Summer Sunsplash.

Monday, June 15 through July 17, 2026
HOLIDAYS (SCHOOL CLOSED):

Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth); Friday, July 3 (Independence Day)
TUITION:

$2,250.00 (includes $100.00 registration fee)

PROGRAM DAY:

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
BEFORE & AFTER CARE:

7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (available for additional $100.00 fee)

TUITION

Tuition for Summer Sunsplash is $2,250.00, including the $100.00 registration fee. The registration fee is due upon enrollment. Once the registration fee is paid, tuition in the amount of $2,150 is due and payable on June 8, 2026. In the alternative, tuition may be paid in two equal installments, $1,075.00 on or before June 8, 2026, and $1,075.00 on or before July 1, 2026. This fee includes entrance fees (when required) and bus transportation (and insurance) to the field trip venues.

Although Summer Sunsplash is designed as a 5-week program, children may attend a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks, depending on your family’s schedule. The fee per week is $450.00 (in addition to the $100.00 registration fee). If a student is attending for only 3 consecutive weeks, the $1,350.00 tuition fee must be paid by Monday, June 8, even if the student will be attending Summer Sunsplash later in the program. If a student is attending for only 4 weeks, the $1,800 tuition fee must be paid by Monday, June 8.

Program Day & Child Care: Class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Child care is available before school from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and after school from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. The fee for child care is $100.00 for the entire 5-week program. This fee is not prorated by week. There is no fee for care from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. These are grace periods for drop-off and pick-up.

Program Description: Spelling, Reading, Phonics, Math, Science, and Social Studies are taught throughout each week. The program also includes auxiliary classes, including Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and Yoga, taught by specialists (subject to change). Field trips and other events take place throughout the program (specifics to be announced at a later date).

Attire: Students may wear free dress during Summer Sunsplash, but must wear closed shoes, preferably tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops).

How to Enroll: If you’re interested in enrolling in Summer Sunsplash, please email enrollment@escuela.plus to request an enrollment packet. Please provide your child’s/children’s name(s) and each parent’s name and email address who will be involved in the enrollment process. An enrollment packet will be sent to you via DocuSign for each child (if you are enrolling more than one child). If there are two parents, the packet will route to one parent, then to the other once the first parent has completed their portion of the packet. Information on how to pay fees is included in the enrollment packet. The $100 registration fee is due and payable with completion of the enrollment packet.
